Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Asimo suddenly realizes he messed up with Himari and thus texts her to get her location. Himari relays the name of the bathhouse. She decides to use the facilities and coyly attempts to get Tsukasa to join her. Tsukasa declines, so Himari teases Nasa about joining her. She blows Nasa a kiss, causing Kaname to scold Nasa over this. Tsukasa requests to see her husband in private, causing Nasa to fear the worst.

Back at their residence, Tsukasa isn’t interested in discussing Himari’s flirting now (but will later). Instead, Tsukasa believes that at some point, Himari has witnessed Tsukasa’s supernatural abilities. Tsukasa’s suspicions were confirmed when Himari attempted to get Tsukasa to bathe with her. In the past, Tsukasa would go hide. But since marrying Nasa, this is no longer an option for Tsukasa. Nasa tells her they’ll work on the problem together.

Thoughts/Review:

The interesting part about Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 242 is that we get to see how Tsukasa deals with someone who’s learned about her immortality. We already know how Tokiko and Chitose came to discover Tsukasa’s supernatural abilities. One presumes that Chitose’s maids have witnessed this as well as Chitose’s mom, Shiori. But outside of that, I don’t think we’ve seen anyone else witness Tsukasa regenerate, at least in modern times. Maybe there was something in the past.

Still, I have to admit that I am curious to read this story about Himari discovering Tsukasa’s ability. I’m going to guess it was something similar to Tokiko or Chitose, in that Tsukasa “dies” to save Himari. But I’m also curious to know how Nasa and Tsukasa will deal with this.

Finally, we have Asimo getting a clue late in the game. So I guess he’ll show up at the bathhouse before long. And we did get a tease of a Himari-Tsukasa-Nasa love triangle thing, but to be honest, I don’t think we are going there in the story. If anything, Hata-sensei wrote that moment so that Tsukasa could make a great “disgusted” face. 😂

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

In the end, Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 242 left me intrigued about Tsukasa’s past with Himari. So I am rather curious to see how this goes. Fortunately as I write, the next chapter is already prepared and waiting.
